Arkansas District & City Court Clerks Association

February 18, 2005

A Greeting from the President,

Hello everyone,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! And welcome to the February certification program for the Second and Fourth Congressional Districts. The certification committee has worked hard to plan this program and I hope you not only enjoy it, but return home with a lot of new information to share with your colleagues. I would like to remind all of you that New Clerk’s Orientation will be given at the May meeting and I encourage all of the chief clerks to make sure their deputies, as well as themselves, have taken this class as it is a requirement for certification. There is a notebook on the registration table that has a list of everyone’s hours and notations as to whether or not a clerk has taken the orientation class. Please check your records and feel free to contact Vickie Asher or myself if you have any questions.

I would also like to welcome Phyllis Price who is the new Chief Clerk in DeQueen. Ruth Kolb retired at the end of last year and Phyllis has been hired to fill her position. Phyllis comes to DeQueen as a totally "new" clerk, so please get around to meet her and offer her any assistance she may need. I would also like to meet and greet any other new clerks we have attending this meeting. Please come and introduce yourself or have someone introduce you, so we can get to know you and answer any questions you may have.

Once again, welcome to all and I hope you enjoy and learn a great deal at this meeting.

Dena Titsworth

President ARDCCCA

From Your Editors Desk!

Okay here we go! I also want to wish each of you a Happy & Prosperous 2005, and may good health dwell in your home. I received only a few information sheets and I really need your input, your thoughts, wishes, opinions, also the names of your loved ones serving our country in the military.

What are you going to do this year-accomplish? What about your vacation plans? Are there any new additions to your family and are there any new grandparents out there?
